Ashly Davies

Therapeutic Play Practitioner and Counsellor

Ashly is a qualified child and adult therapist with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Level 5 Advanced Specialist Training in Counselling Children and Young People.

She has worked in a variety of roles, including bereavement counselling, supporting young carers and their families, and working as an adolescent mental health counsellor. Ashly is currently based in schools, providing play therapy and counselling to children aged 5–11.

Calm, patient, and kind, Ashly is genuinely curious about how others experience life. She believes it is important to be open-minded and honest so that those she works with feel safe to be themselves. She has a particular interest in play therapy, recognising its power as a form of communication for children — helping them express themselves, understand their feelings, and make sense of their world in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Outside of work, Ashly enjoys creative pursuits, house renovation, gardening, and spending as much time as possible in nature.
