Sally Woodland

Therapeutic Play Practitioner and Counsellor

Sally is a person-centred counsellor with a BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling. As a school therapist, she uses play-based approaches to create a calm, warm space where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their emotions. She is passionate about supporting children to heal, grow, and develop confidence and resilience.

Sally draws on her career experiences to bring a blend of creativity, compassion, and understanding to her counselling work. Her background in theatre and television helps her think imaginatively in sessions, while her years in primary schools, particularly in SEMH settings, have reinforced the importance of listening to children with empathy.

Outside of work, Sally enjoys going to the theatre, attending live music events, and vintage clothes shopping with her daughter.
